The problem

  • A parent choosing a music school wants to know one thing: what will my child actually be able to do, and when.
  • Schools prepare students for Trinity College London exams and then describe it in one line on a Facebook page.
  • Fees, timings and which teacher takes which instrument are not written down anywhere a stranger can read them.

What was built

  1. 01

    Instrument-first structure

Pick guitar, piano, drums or violin and the whole page follows it — what you learn, what it costs, who teaches it, when the batches run.

  2. 02

    The graded exam path

Grades 1 to 8, what each grade asks for, and roughly how long it takes at one lesson a week. This is the differentiator and it gets a full section.

  3. 03

    Timetable by instrument

Filtered to whichever instrument was chosen, with the teacher named.

  4. 04

    Fees

Group class, one to one, and exam-term preparation. On the page, not on request.

  5. 05

    Enquiry to WhatsApp

Instrument, who is learning, whether they want the exam path, and a preferred timing. Arrives written out.

  • Next.js (App Router)
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind
  • WhatsApp handoff
  • Static — no database

Exam requirements in the demo are indicative. On a real build they are confirmed against the current syllabus before the site goes live.

What to look at first

Scroll to the grade path. Then switch instruments at the top and watch the timetable follow.

Open the demo

It is a demonstration, not that business’s official site, and every page says so. Nothing in it is stored and it takes no payment.

Where it stands

  • This is a spec build. There are no results to report yet.
  • The exam-path section is the argument: a parent comparing two schools can read it and understand what they are buying.
